the hotel was in a great spot, super close to the train station which made it easy for us to get around. the staff were really friendly and made us feel welcomed. the room was comfy and had all the basic stuff we needed. it was also quiet, even tho it's right by the trains. loved that we could walk to town for dinner.

i stayed here for one night and my experience was excellent. the location is perfect, just a short walk from the train station and the town center. the room was spacious, well-equipped, and far exceeded my expectations compared to my last visit to dumfries.
